Research on Niwot Ridge
Point-Quadrat Measurements
Using a frame called a point-quadrat, researchers can figure out which plant species are found in which areas. Point-quadrats allow the researchers to come back to the exact same place on Niwot Ridge year after year to see if the plant species have changed.
