Tunnels of Dirt Left by Gophers

Gophers are never seen above ground. In the summer, they move around in tunnels under the ground. In the winter they move around in tunnels at ground level, beneath the snow. They push dirt up into these snow tunnels and when the snow melts you can see the shapes of the tunnels left behind.
