Plot Biomass Measurements
Plants are collected in paper bags and dried to determine their weight, or biomass. Note that in this picture the yellow flowers, western yeallow paint- brush, is missing from the square marked by the bags. This plot has been fertilized with nitrogen, and the paintbrush doesn't like the treatment!
